Seller Terms & Conditions
1. Platform Fees
EI Tickets is free to use for sellers. Booking fees are charged directly to customers and are included in the ticket price shown to them. There are no hidden fees or additional charges to sellers.
2. Payouts
Payout requests can be made from the day after your event has finished (or the final day of a multi-day event). We process payouts on a same-day basis where possible, but we cannot guarantee same-day processing due to factors outside our control, including bank processing times, bank holidays, or payment system availability. EI Tickets offers this service on a best-endeavours basis and accepts no liability for delays caused by third parties.
You are responsible for providing accurate bank details. EI Tickets will endeavour to verify account details but cannot be held responsible for failed or misdirected payments resulting from incorrectly submitted information.
3. Clearpay / Buy Now Pay Later
If Clearpay is enabled on your account, a 5% fee applies to all Clearpay transactions. This fee is charged to cover the additional costs levied on EI Tickets by Clearpay for processing BNPL payments, and is deducted from your payout.
4. Refunds
Sellers are responsible for communicating their own refund policy to customers. In the event of a refund request, EI Tickets will notify you and process the refund on your behalf. Payment processing fees incurred on refunded transactions may not be recoverable.
5. Event Cancellation
If you wish to cancel an event, you must submit a cancellation request to EI Tickets. We will contact you to confirm the reason and obtain your agreement before processing refunds to ticket holders. You agree that upon confirmed cancellation, EI Tickets is authorised to issue full refunds to all customers. Repeated event cancellations may result in account suspension or termination.
6. Service Availability
EI Tickets provides its platform, including the ticket scanner, on a best-endeavours basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform or scanner at all times. EI Tickets is not liable for any losses arising from planned or unplanned service downtime, technical failures, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to third-party outages, internet failures, or force majeure events). We recommend having a contingency plan for door entry in the event of scanner unavailability.
7. Prohibited Events
You may not list events that are illegal, fraudulent, or that misrepresent the nature of the event or its content. EI Tickets reserves the right to remove any event listing and suspend or terminate any account found to be in breach of this policy, without notice.
8. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of all event information, including dates, times, venue, lineup, and ticket descriptions. EI Tickets is not liable for losses arising from inaccurate or misleading event information published by sellers.
9. Liability
EI Tickets acts as a platform facilitating ticket sales between sellers and customers. We are not the organiser or promoter of any event listed on the platform. Our liability to you is limited to the value of fees collected on your behalf in the 30 days prior to any claim.
10. Account
You must be 18 or over to register as a seller. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
11. Changes to These Terms
EI Tickets may update these terms at any time. We will notify sellers of significant changes where reasonably practicable. Continued use of the platform following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
