UK Thrash metal legends Acid Reign come to Suburbia as a part of their tour in support of their latest album 'Daze of the Week'! Formed in 1985, Acid Reign are one of the 'big four' of UK thrash metal along with Onslaught, Sabbat and Xentrix. Their fourth studio album, 'Daze of the Week' is due for release on the 15th May and will be the bands first release since 2019's 'The Age of Entitlement'. Support comes from Enquire Within and Sanguis Mortem Acid Reign: There has been a lot of change in the AR camp since the release of their universally praised comeback album The Age Of Entitlement in 2019. That line up is gone and now we have Acid Reign 3.0, the reinvigorated re-reboot. This new line-up (Matt, Darren, Johnny, Pete & H) brings us “Daze Of The Week” the bands fourth full album. Once again long-time producer/collaborator Jayce Lewis was engaged, flying in from New York to make sure the band got what they were after and in his own words “a chance to work with a band that sounded reborn”. And reborn they are as H confirms “There were times I really did wonder if it was time to call it quits. That was quickly followed by, NO WAY. No way am I letting circumstance dictate when this bands career ends, we will decide. Being in a legacy band (which is a label he is happy and proud to accept) is a privilege, if a 15 year old me was told we’d still be putting albums out all these later it would have blown his tiny mind! Honestly, we cannot wait to get out and play the new stuff, old stuff, any stuff we just want to play!”. 2025 Re-rebooted. 2026 the year Acid Reign came back. Again. Enquire Within: Formed in 2016 by friends Dan Lewin (lead guitarist) and Henry Waller (drummer) before recruiting Henry’s brother, Jacob (vocals), to create the core unit of the band. By 2019, the band released their debut album, Bloodlines. In 2020, the band released a live version of their debut album, Bloodlines - Live at Hackney Road Studios. They propelled themselves further with the release of their sophomore studio album, ReBirth, in October 2021. In 2023 the Londoners’ next single, Final Seal, dropped. Critics and fans warmed greatly to the band’s swerve in direction. Throughout 2023, the Brit metallers progressed from playing the underground live circuit to more prominent venues, with recent support tours with Acid Reign and Evile only adding to the band’s increased profile. They also played main stages at O2 Birmingham and Sheffield. During 2024 the band completed their UK headline Gates of Elysium Tour and supported Raging Speedhorn at Booking Hall Dover in October 2024 and Camden Underworld in March 2025. They played at Hammerdown Festival in Brighton, July 2025 and received great reviews.Enquire Within have just recorded their third studio album, Doomsday Profit and go on the road in April and May 2026 on their headline Blood and Rust Tour. After ten years of gigging the five piece go from strength to strength and have more plans for touring later in 2026. Sanguis Mortem: Sanguis Mortem’s debut album, entitled, “Merry Doomsday” is an intricately crafted, ferociously executed, redefining force for the new wave of metal music. A uniting force for the past, present, and future, this album takes inspiration from old-school thrash aggression, and modern metal melody. Defined by its hulking breakdowns, whipping thrash riffs, captivating melodies, and political lyrics, it sets a new standard for a thrash metal genre that has sat in harmonic stagnation since its early 80s birth.
